LIBS System Companion Guide

Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) utilizes the interaction of high power density Laser light with matter to generate transient plasma, and uses an optical system to collect the emission spectra of atoms and ions in the plasma. Qualitative or quantitative analysis of chemical elements. The basic composition of LIBS system

The LIBS system is mainly composed of: Pulsed Laser, fiber Spectrometer, focusing lens, sample, turntable, coupling lens, fiber holder, fiber and other parts. Choice of pulsed lasers

Laser type: Q-switched pulsed laser, ns-level pulse width, mJ-level energy, air-cooled/water-cooled optional

Typical wavelength: 1064nm, other wavelengths can be loaded: 532nm, 355nm, 266nm

High energy stability: <2%

Small pulse jitter: Jitter<1ns

External trigger control laser pulse output, Q switch and TTL synchronization signal, synchronous control with spectrometer

Select different pulse energies and repetition frequencies for substances in different (solid, liquid, gas) forms
